This baby was born extra wide! We made room for larger boxes and a bigger cooler without compromising the exceptional performance of the traditional Spider. In fact, the added girth provides additional room for comfortable passengers, extra supplies, and increased stability. The Wider Spider is as versatile for paddling high water on the Lochsa, as it is fully loaded on the Selway at technical low water.
The Maravia Wider Spider is nimble and quick – the perfect raft for a serious fishing machine, or the fun of a small, light oar or paddling rig.
With a diminishing tube design and narrow width, the Spider can slip down low water conditions, punch waves or line up for the tightest of slot runs.
An oar frame will work for 2 or 3 people and a small amount of gear. With paddles, 2 to 6 can be accommodated.
The Spider has a flat self-bailing floor with drop stitch core. It comes standard with attachments for 3 thwarts.
